In commercial and public facilities, the majority of electrical equipment operates as nonlinear loads, including switching power supplies, computers, printers, photocopiers, televisions, elevators, energy-saving lamps, UPS systems, air conditioners, and LED displays.

While these devices are individually of small capacity, their large quantity makes them the primary sources of harmonics and reactive power in the power distribution system. Approximately 70% of the total load consists of single-phase equipment, leading to:

  • Solution 1 – Anti-Harmonic Capacitor Compensation
    Deploy Intelligent Combined Anti-Harmonic Low Voltage Power Capacitors using the series reactor + power capacitor method. This approach suppresses the impact of harmonics on capacitors, thereby improving product reliability and extending service life.

  • Solution 2 – Advanced Power Quality Management
    For applications with more complex harmonic and reactive power challenges, adopt Active Power Filters (APF) and/or Static Var Generators (SVG). These solutions provide precise reactive power compensation, harmonic suppression, and overall smart power quality management.
